Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities



Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled structural and composite maintenance tasks during aircraft C Checks and heavy maintenance.
Inspect aircraft structures for corrosion, cracks, dents, delamination, fatigue, and structural damage.
Carry out structural repairs and modifications on fuselage, flight controls, doors, panels, fairings, radomes, and wing components.
Perform sheet metal fabrication, drilling, riveting, sealing, and fastener installation/removal.
Conduct composite repairs including bonded repairs, patch installation, vacuum bagging, and curing processes.
Perform corrosion removal, treatment, and prevention activities.
Utilize approved maintenance manuals, SRM, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
Complete maintenance records, task cards, and repair documentation accurately.
Ensure compliance with SMS, tool control, FOD prevention, PPE, and safety procedures.
Maintain work area cleanliness and participate in maintenance briefings and shift handovers.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, QA, planners, and other maintenance teams.
Support aircraft delivery schedules and assist junior technicians when required.


Qualification & experience requirements:

Essential
Diploma or technical qualification in Aircraft Structures, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Composite Technology, or related field with minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft C Checks / heavy maintenance environment.
Strong hands-on experience in aircraft structural repair and composite maintenance activities.
Experience working on commercial Airbus and/or Boeing aircraft.
Knowledge of sheet metal repair, corrosion control, and composite repair techniques.
Ability to interpret SRM, engineering drawings, repair instructions, and technical manuals.
Skilled in structural assembly, fabrication, bonding, and composite curing processes.
Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet maintenance deadlines.

Desirable
Composite repair certification/training.
Corrosion control and Human Factors training.
Familiarity with electronic task card systems.
Experience in multinational maintenance environments.
