We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for transforming aluminium materials into high-quality products that meet client specifications and industry standards. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints or technical plans and executing detailed projects with precision and care. The Aluminium Fabricator will work with a variety of tools and machines to cut, shape, and join aluminium parts for diverse manufacturing and construction assignments. Due to the technical nature of this position, a keen attention to detail and a strong aptitude for problem-solving are crucial. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints for aluminium fabrication projects.
• Measure, cut, and shape aluminium parts using hand and power tools effectively.
• Assemble and weld components accurately to create desired aluminium structures.
• Set up and operate machinery like saws, drills, and sanders for fabrication tasks.
• Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality specifications.
• Maintain and perform routine checks on equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Liaise with designers and clients to understand project requirements clearly.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area adhering to safety norms and standards.
• Keep inventory of materials and order new supplies to maintain production flow.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior fabricators and apprentices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Aluminium Fabricator or similar role in manufacturing.
• Skilled in using various fabricating tools, machines, and welding equipment efficiently.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints accurately.
• Proficient in welding techniques appropriate for aluminium, including TIG and MIG.
• Strong mathematical skills for measuring and setting up materials precisely.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in different environments regularly.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team setting effectively.
• Certification in Fabrication Technology or Welding will be considered an asset.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
