Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • System Assembly: Full installation of bioclimatic pergolas, including motor housings, internal gutter systems, and rotating louver blades.

  • Precision Fitting: Installation of sliding, folding, or "guillotine" glass systems with a focus on weather-stripping and air-tight seals.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and fixing issues with motorized components, remote control syncing, and sensor calibration (rain/wind sensors).

  • Site Surveys: Conducting accurate pre-installation measurements using laser levels to ensure the structure sits perfectly flush on uneven surfaces.

  • Fabrication & Modification: On-site cutting or adjustment of aluminum profiles and gaskets to resolve unforeseen architectural gaps.

  • Waterproofing & Finishing: Applying high-quality structural silicone and ensuring all internal drainage channels are clear and functional.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to UAE site safety standards, especially when working with heavy glass panels and power tools at height.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Experience: Minimum 1–3 years in the UAE aluminum and glass sector. Specific experience with brands like Renson, LouverLux, or Technal is a significant advantage.

  2. Technical Literacy: Must be able to read and interpret complex Shop Drawings and Section Details without constant supervision.

  3. Problem Solver: Ability to identify "out-of-square" site conditions and adjust the aluminum framing accordingly.

  4. Tool Proficiency: Expert-level use of miter saws, specialized drills, and laser leveling equipment.

  5. Physical Fitness: Capability to handle heavy lifting (glass panels) and work in outdoor Sharjah weather conditions.
