Position Overview
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is looking for a seasoned AML Compliance Officer to manage anti-money laundering frameworks with a strong focus on Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) compliance. This role involves ensuring effective controls, overseeing onboarding due diligence, updating policies, and coordinating audit responses to support the integrity of FAB Asset Management.

What You ll Do

* Oversee the AML/CTF framework for FAB Asset Management to ensure compliance with applicable SCA regulations and internal controls
* Review account opening and onboarding documentation for completeness and compliance with KYC standards
* Update the AML manual in accordance with AML modules, regulatory updates, and internal rules
* Design and deliver AML/CTF training programs for business units and operational teams
* Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits, identify control gaps, and recommend corrective actions
* Handle escalated compliance issues and liaise with internal departments for resolution
* Monitor changes in AML regulations and ensure timely dissemination and implementation across teams
* Manage AML monitoring systems including customer screening, transaction surveillance, and alert handling
* Ensure robust regulatory reporting practices and ongoing policy development

Ideal Profile

* Minimum 8 years of experience in compliance roles, specifically in AML/CTF functions
* Strong understanding of AML laws and regulatory frameworks, particularly those governed by the SCA
* Certified in AML compliance from a recognized regulatory authority
* Experienced in KYC, onboarding, transaction monitoring, and policy enforcement
* Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to manage training, audits, and cross-functional compliance reviews
