Assist in preparing, validating, and submitting tax Corporate Income Tax, Domestic Minimum Top Up Tax, VAT and Client Tax information returns in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Assist in reviewing, validating and reconciling Accounting records with tax returns and source systems and ensuring Tax General Ledger (GL) accounts are substantiated periodically.

Support implementation and compliance of E-Invoicing requirements across the MENA region, in coordination with process owners and Group Tax Engine (GTE) team.

Assist in data mapping, validation and system testing to ensure alignment with local regulatory requirements.

Support in periodic audits by tax authorities (including preparing tax authority audit files) thereby ensuring effective and efficient resolution of all audit issues raised.

Provide support in ensuring all tax related documentation, statutory records, registers are maintained as per legal requirements.

Maintain effective control procedure over all aspects of the tax processes including process note and documentation.

Ensure changes in legislative and operational requirements are compiled timely, analysed adequately and documented clearly.

Provide regular updates to Head of Tax UAE & MENA on compliance status, obtain buy-in to recommendations, escalate issues and manage risks within Enterprise Risk Framework.

Assist in submitting periodic group and local tax reporting and forecasting of UAE entities, including extending support to Country Finance Managers for other Middle East countries.

Provide support to Group Tax projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Education Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

Languages Arabic and English is must
