Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment necessary for surgeries and procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia machines and other related equipment.
• Assist anesthesiologists in preparing patients for anesthesia administration.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any unusual findings to the medical team.
• Ensure that all anesthesia tools and supplies are sanitized and sterile.
• Manage inventory levels of anesthesia supplies and restock as necessary.
• Collect and maintain patient data and detailed records during surgical procedures.
• Adhere to and promote infection control and patient safety protocols at all times.
• Provide immediate support during anesthesia induction and emergence phases.
• Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Be prepared to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations.

Requirements

• Associate degree or a certificate in anesthesia technology or related field.
• Minimum of one year experience working in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Proficient understanding of anesthesia equipment operation and maintenance.
