The Well Services Applications Engineer will be responsible for:
•Maintaining relationships and connectivity with the client thru frequent contact with the Well Services Country Operations Management and local teams.
•Well Services Applications Engineer has the overall responsibility for ensuring the right Well Servicing Solutions for Intervention, Fishing & Milling or wellbore isolation, stimulation or casing exit are explored in conjunction with country and Geozone management teams
•Additionally, put together commercial proposals pertaining to Well Services Jobs.
•Review proposals put together by Well Services supervisors in the district / location, to ensure technically proficient with proper JSA / Risk Assessment are in place by country.
•Participate in conjunction with country or Geozone for incident investigation thru WPTS and Weatherford TapRoot.
•Build and obtain intimate knowledge of the marketplace, our services, our customers and our competition.
He represents the link between Weatherford's interests and the customer's interests. He ensures that client's requests are fulfilled in a safe, timely and efficient manner, by conforming to both Weatherford's standards and the customer specifications. Through an understanding of other product line activities, he must also actively promote Weatherford in front of our clients.
Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
•Takes Direction from the Country Operations Manager
•Works with Product Line Business Development and Sales teams to develop and implement strategic account plans.
•Drives Product Line Strategy to the Client account(s).
•Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to customers
•Maintain relationship with all key decision makers and understand customer's buying style and process.
•Must understand and comply with quality, safety, and company policies of Weatherford.
•Follow WFT Trade Compliance & Ethics Policies
•Participate in Incident Investigations and follow up in conjunction with Geozone and country Operations Management.
•To develop local proactive business strategies and opportunities with the Well Services Operations Manager rather than follow a reactive process to the client s business.
•To travel to MENA countries and promote Weatherford tools by the aid of presentations and client meetings.
•Strategies to be put in place for different clients to focus on the gain the best profitability in the marketplace.
•To keep a running inventory of customer needs / problems and use available resources and technology to develop and meet Well Services Objectives.
•At all times, be aware of our customers perception of the quality of services delivered and feed this back to Well Services Manager through excellent verbal and written communication with peers and supervisors.
•To contribute to the QHSE objectives of the business teams. To take the message to the client.
•To develop an in-depth understanding of the assigned customer organizations. This will involve developing and maintaining personal contacts with key decision-makers where possible, it is important to note this is a team responsibility for Well Services management as well.
•To take an active part in his professional development through participation in external and internal training courses/seminars and to actively pursue development thru continual improvement in Well Services competency, as level designation assigned tasks by Well Services Operations Manager
•At all times, have the latest available information and presentation packages on assigned new technology tools to impart this to clients as WFT develop new Technologies in Well Services. At all times to be aware of operational resources and constraints and assist Operations in all issues related to service delivery including pre-job preparation.
•To have complete understanding of existing contracts and the tendering process, when putting together commercial proposal for clients.
•Assist country operations manager with annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting.
•To keep up to date on competitor strategies, services and technology, and communicate this information through appropriate channels.
•To remain aware of the costs of doing business and suggest ideas on how to reduce the operations cost base.
•Participate in industry trade show and organizations and other pertinent technical associations or committees.
•Equivalent Experience of 5 Years in Thru Tubing Intervention Services ( F&M , Inflates, Mechanical Packers & Plugs, Selective Stimulation)
•Occasionally must be able to work in various weather conditions. Required to meet heavy deadlines
•Travel may be required up to 25% to other locations, customer sites, and attending seminars, conferences
•Must be a team player with good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Technically proficient in the use of Thru Tubing Applications Software and programs
•Technical knowledge of Thru Tubing Tools and Operations
•Good knowledge of tools working practices & techniques (SOP's)
•Strong leadership skills

•Technically proficient in the use of Thru Tubing Applications Software and programs.

•Working Knowledge of weatherford Systems such as Endeca, SharePoint, OEPS.
•Proficient in the Thru Tubing IMS System and implementation.
