Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure the safe operation of lifting equipment and activities, adhering strictly to company procedures and legal regulations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments for all lifting operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Supervise and coordinate lifting teams, including crane operators, riggers, and slingers, providing clear instructions and guidance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment, including cranes, slings, and accessories, to identify and address any defects or safety concerns.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Must be a LEEA Approved.

  • Possesses a relevant degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.

  • Holds a recognized Appointed Person qualification or equivalent certification, demonstrating competence in lifting operations.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction, oil and gas, or maritime industries.

  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
