Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, binocular vision assessment, and ocular health evaluation to diagnose vision problems and eye diseases accurately.
  • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction devices, customizing solutions based on individual patient needs and lifestyle.
  • Manage and treat various eye conditions, such as dry eye, glaucoma, and macular degeneration, providing appropriate medical interventions and patient education.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, including visual field testing, retinal imaging, and corneal topography, to aid in the diagnosis and management of eye diseases.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors degree from a recognized institution in Optometry.

  • Holds a valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license/ Eligibility Letter to practice optometry in Dubai, ensuring legal compliance.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in optometry, with proven expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions.

  • Proficient in Arabic and English, enabling effective communication with a diverse patient population and colleagues.
