Architect - Authority Coordination Reportage Real Estate

We are seeking a meticulous and knowledgeable Architect specializing in authority liaison and permit processes to join our team. This role is critical in navigating the regulatory landscape of the UAE, ensuring our projects secure all necessary approvals efficiently. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact for authorities and consultants, responsible for managing the permit submission process, addressing technical clarifications, and ensuring all design documentation is fully compliant with local codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Authority Liaison & Coordination: Act as the primary technical contact for all authority submissions. Coordinate directly with relevant municipalities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi DMA), master developers, and other regulatory bodies throughout the permit approval process.
• Permit Process Management: Manage and drive the end-to-end permit application process, ensuring timely submissions, follow-ups, and approvals.
• Drawing Revisions & Compliance: Update and revise architectural drawings and documentation based on formal comments and requirements from authorities. Ensure all revisions are accurately implemented and resubmitted.
• Technical Clarifications: Respond to and clarify technical queries from authorities and external consultants to facilitate smooth project progression.
• Team Support & Quality Control: Support the internal design team by reviewing drawings and documents to ensure they are aligned with the latest regulatory standards and project requirements before submission.
• Regulatory Adherence: Guarantee that all designs and deliverables strictly adhere to project-specific requirements, UAE building codes, regulations, and the company's business model.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience specifically focused on the preparation and submission of authority and permit drawings within the UAE.
• Regional Expertise: Strong, demonstrated understanding of the specific requirements, codes, and submission protocols of Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi DMA, and other key UAE authorities and master developers.
• Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential for producing and revising technical documentation and for coordination purposes.
