Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative architectural solutions that meet client needs while adhering to regulatory standards and building codes.
- Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and optimize project outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of architectural designs with structural and mechanical systems.
- Create detailed architectural drawings, models, and presentations using advanced design software and technologies.
- Mentor junior architects and interns, providing guidance on best practices and fostering professional development.
- Oversee the construction process to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards, conducting regular site visits.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials and construction methods that enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to incorporate the latest materials, technologies, and sustainability practices into designs.
- Lead project meetings to effectively communicate design concepts, address client concerns, and manage project timelines.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge.
- Proven expertise in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, demonstrating technical proficiency in architectural design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of completed projects that reflect creativity and technical skill.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey design ideas and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address design challenges and ensure project feasibility.
- Fluent in English with additional language skills considered an asset, enhancing communication with international clients.
