Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Creative Direction

  • Set and lead a cohesive creative vision across all platforms and formats

  • Guide the development of design systems, templates, and brand applications

  • Oversee creative briefs and workflows to ensure clarity, timeliness, and alignment with brand strategy

  • Ensure all design outputs adhere to brand guidelines and reflect the institutional tone of voice

  • Contribute to strategic planning sessions and campaign rollouts

Mentorship & Team Development

  • Supervise and mentor in-house designers, interns, and freelance creatives

  • Provide constructive feedback, training, and professional development opportunities to elevate team performance

Vendor & Quality Oversight

  • Manage relationships with external vendors including printers, photographers, and illustrators to maintain high

production standards

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of all final visual deliverables

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional design experience, with at least 3 - 5 years in a senior or leadership role

  • Demonstrated experience in creative agencies (agency background is essential)

  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is required

  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and understanding of both digital and print production workflows

  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand systems, editorial design, campaign execution, and exhibition graphics

  • Proven ability to lead design projects from concept through to final delivery

  • Experience within cultural, educational, or public sector institutions is preferred
