Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Department spans year groups from Year 3 Year 13. We are an all-through school so the majority of students entering the Senior School progress directly from our Junior School who share Fry campus.

The facilities include a kiln and print making facilities.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities:

  • Qualified Teacher Status; and

  • EITHER - Bachelors of Education with PGCE or Masters and relevant experience teaching this subject specialism;

  • OR - Bachelors in subject relevant to teaching specialism plus PGCE / Masters in Education

  • Have experience teaching at Key Stage 2 & 3 in a school with an outstanding track record

  • Have minimum 2 years post qualification experience

  • Have experience teaching in a UK setting or renowned British Curriculum international school

  • Be at least 25 years old

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a skilled Artist Teacher who can present an accomplished portfolio at interview; your own specialism in the Department would be a very much valued contribution to the team. There is an emphasis on direct observation drawing across all Key Stages as a cornerstone of any project, which has a modern/contemporary focus.
