Job Details :
Plan and deliver art lessons that align with curriculum standards or educational goals.
Teach students different techniques, styles, and mediums used in visual arts such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, etc.
Demonstrate artistic techniques and methods to students.
Provide guidance and feedback to students on their artwork to help them improve their skills.
Develop lesson plans, projects, and assignments that cater to students' skill levels and interests.
Integrate art history, theory, and criticism into lessons to provide context and inspire creativity.
Stay updated on trends and advancements in the art world to incorporate relevant content into the curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves creatively.
Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline as needed.
Ensure the safety of students and the proper use of art materials and equipment.
Assess students' progress through various means such as critiques, portfolio reviews, and exams.
Provide constructive feedback on students' artwork to help them understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
Keep records of students' artwork and grades.
