Assembly Line Manager

Responsible for setting up assembly line for battery assembly line (Lithium-ion and LiPO) and overseeing daily operations of the Lithium-Ion and Lithium Polymer battery assembly lines, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met. Also, responsibly to procure all the necessary equipment and input needed for the assembly line. This role manages a multidisciplinary team and drives efficient, stable, and scalable production performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design the semi-automated assembly line for the types of batteries mentioned above (LiPo, LiHV and Lithium-ion) • Procure all the necessary equipment and inputs/ materials needed to assembly battery packs. • Supervise and lead assembly line teams, including operators, technicians, and shift leaders. • Plan daily and weekly production schedules to meet output and delivery requirements. • Monitor line performance, including yield, cycle time, throughput, and equipment utilization. • Ensure adherence to all safety standards, especially those related to Li-ion/Li-Po cell handling • Oversee the execution and improvement of SOPs, work instructions, and quality checklists.• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements using Lean/Kaizen methods. • Review quality data, investigate defects or process deviations, and drive preventive actions. • Support new equipment commissioning, line balancing, and scaling activities as production grows. • Train staff on procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation
