Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile invoices for food, beverage, and operational supplies, ensuring accurate coding and adherence to catering budgets.
  • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, including tracking payments, preparing client invoices, and following up on outstanding balances.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and analyze variances against forecasts, highlighting key performance indicators for catering operations.
  • Support inventory management by tracking stock levels, assisting with stocktakes, and calculating cost of goods sold for menu items.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Have 2-3 years of proven experience in an accounting role, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the catering or hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail in financial data.
