Assistant Design Manager - Womenswear Knitwear

Product & Design Direction

• Own and drive the product direction for the knits category
• Lead trend direction, identifying key shapes, silhouettes, and outfit solutions
• Actively design key styles while guiding the wider category offer

Range & Development

• Build cohesive, commercial seasonal ranges aligned to brand strategy
• Lead fabric sourcing and development, ensuring quality and value
• Oversee print and graphics direction in collaboration with the Graphics Designer
• Ensure strong technical execution across all knit and jersey product

Technical & Delivery

• Produce and oversee accurate tech packs
• Lead and attend fit sessions, ensuring fit, quality, and cost targets are met
• Work closely with Buying, Merchandising, and Technical teams to meet critical path

People & Collaboration

• Line manage and develop the Knits Designer and Graphics Designer
• Support the Senior Design Manager and Head of Design in delivering departmental objectives
• Present ranges and concepts confidently to all levels of the business

Supplier & Market Engagement

• Build and maintain strong supplier and mill relationships
• Undertake overseas and UK travel as required to support sourcing and development
