Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe and efficient maintenance of electrical systems following safety rules and procedures.
  • Perform maintenance tasks based on CMMS work orders and OEM manuals.
  • Support fault investigations, preventive maintenance, and modifications on plant equipment.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors during maintenance activities.
  • Comply with legal, corporate, and environmental requirements.

Performance Indicators:

  • Timely and high-quality completion of maintenance work.
  • Efficient usage of Maximo CMMS.
  • Accurate and complete maintenance records.
  • Continuous availability and problem-solving effectiveness.

Work Relationships:

  • Daily coordination with the Electrical Maintenance and other technical teams.
  • Regular interaction with contractors and external suppliers.

Electrical Maintenance Assistant Technician Job Description

The position is reserved for MALE UAE Nationals with Family Book.

The communication at work is 100% in English and therefore, they must be fluent.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Solid understanding of electrical systems in power and desalination plants.
  • Hands-on experience with rotating and static equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair major electrical components.
  • Strong team player, communicator, and problem solver.
  • Good English communication skills and computer literacy.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Engineering or equivalent certification.
  • 1-2 Years and for fresh graduates as a trainee.

  • Proactive, organized, and responsive in emergencies.
  • Able to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment.

Working Hours:

  • The normal working hours will be from 7:30am to 4:30pm on Monday to Friday.
  • Friday 7:30 am to 3:15 pm with hour prayer break.
  • Ready to be located near site during the shift days
  • Must be flexible to report to duty in case of an emergency.
