Key tasks
Under the general direction of the Executive Housekeeper and the Director of Rooms, the Assistant Executive Housekeeper contributes to the management of the Housekeeping Department.
Assists in the supervision of the entire Housekeeping operation, including Laundry and the Internal Communication Center, ensuring compliance to the hotel policies and procedures.
Monitors stock levels, approves requisitions and liaises with the relevant suppliers accordingly.
Facilitates any maintenance in coordination with the Front Office and Engineering Department.
Contributes to any company CSR initiatives ensuring guidelines are met.
Personally inspects VIP rooms as and when required.
Assists in the management of the team by setting performance targets, reviewing staff performance and working with the HR Training manager for any L&D activities.
Ensures the strict control of room keys and section keys.
Prepares forecasts, statistics and reports, extending additional support to the Executive Housekeeper and Director of Rooms when required.
Communicates to the team members on any administrative, organizational or operational changes and news.
Supervises the Lost and Found operation and storage.
