Your day to day
As an Assistant Finance & Business Support Manager, you will support the Director of Finance &Business Support in managing the day to day and all hotel accounting and finance functions/operations for both of our properties.
You will assist the Director of Finance & Business Support in all stages leading to the preparation of annual budgets &monthly forecasts, implementation of internal audit policies and controls, ensuring all statutory reporting are met as per deadline as well as timely submissions of all taxes as per local regulations. You will handle liaison with individuals outside the hotel including but not limited to hotel's legal counsel, insurance companies, tax consultants, auditors and banks.
You will handle and supervise the monthly financial closing and all reporting requirement, work closely and guide Heads of Departments in providing financial / historical data in providing support details and analysis.
You will handle the preparation of reports which local management, Area Office or Owning company may require.You will set guidelines and processes to ensure work efficiencies and drive the high level of employee performance within the Finance & Business Support department.
You will also be involved with senior management in formulation of business strategies and planning from time to time and as required.
What we need from you
A candidate with Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce is required with minimum 5 years of hotel experience within Finance management role.Have strong drive for results, dynamic, possess good communication skills and good interaction with people of different levels within the organization.
You must be thoroughly familiar with the duties and responsibilities of all the accounting sections under your supervision including the Credit and Purchasing department; Knowledge of SUN &Vision XL, Opera, Simphony POS, FMC, and Civil Soft system is highly recommended and will be considered as a plus.
