We are looking for Assistant IT Manager to join our team in Jeddah, KSA. The ideal candidate should have strong relevant experience in the hotel industry in the GCC. Pleasant, hospitable personality and a good command of English are a must.Due to visa restrictions, only Indian applicants will be considered for this position.
• Ensures that all assets assigned to the department run with minimum or no downtime.
• Ensures that all software run with no output errors, no response time problems and according to defined specifications.
• Solves technical problems as reported by the users.
• Maintains all I.T. checklists and monitors system performance for all I.T. related platforms in the assigned business unit(s).
• Updates the I.T. helpdesk system, keeps an accurate record of all helpdesk tickets and is accountable for all support services provided to users.
• Assigns support tickets to I.T. personnel as appropriate.
• Keeps accurate inventory records of all I.T. related hardware, software, and documents controlled by the hotel.
• Ensures that all software license originals, media, and manuals are kept in a safe place at all times, retrieved for reference purposes alone and only with proper records.

• Carries out software and hardware installations as instructed by the line manager.
• Works closely with the business owners of all hotel applications and assists in providing solutions to technical challenges.
• Meets regularly with hotel department heads in a brainstorming fashion, with the aim to improve internal processes by means of information technology.
• Recommends new products and services to the line manager.
• Produces a monthly activity report the designated line manager, following an agreed document standard format.
• Documents all work and communicates with the line manager at all times.
