Report on laboratory activities to your hierarchical manager. Communicate internal rules and procedures and ensure they are well understood and applied. Welcome any newcomer according to procedures, ensure their integration and training. Inform, support and ensure follow-up of all actions with all chemists. Manage all records related to laboratory operations and the stock of chemicals/materials for orders. Plan and organize the chemists' workdays according to needs, unforeseen events, and priorities. Analyze discrepancies and malfunctions, understand the consequences on finished product quality and implement actions. Develop analysis, control, and verification instructions for the laboratory and sample templates for entering analyses into laboratory software in conjunction with the Laboratory Manager. Validate analysis results and ensure their compliance with instructions and specifications. Propose and implement new analysis techniques, new methods, or new equipment (validation of an analysis, creation and drafting of analysis instructions).
