Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The AGM – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for overseeing the financial health and compliance of the organization across the UAE, KSA, and Qatar. This leadership role involves strategic financial planning, budgetary control, regulatory compliance, and team development across multiple business units and countries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regional finance operations across the GCC and a proven track record in multi-country financial leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
•
Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts function across UAE, KSA, and Qatar, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and compliance with local regulations.
•
Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across all business units in the region.
•
Consolidate monthly and quarterly financial performance reports across geographies, highlighting key financial metrics, variance analysis, and recommended corrective actions.
•
Guide country-level Finance Managers and Financial Controllers in day-to-day operations, financial controls, and reporting accuracy.
•
Drive standardization and best practices in financial systems, internal controls, and policies across the GCC.
•
Work closely with external auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors to ensure compliance with local statutory requirements in each country.
•
Support strategic decisions by providing business insights through financial analysis, dashboards, and scenario modeling.
•
Mentor and develop finance teams across countries, promoting knowledge-sharing and growth toward international financial certifications.
•
Collaborate with senior leadership across functions and geographies to support cross-functional initiatives and investments.
•
Ensure proper ERP implementation, automation, and continuous improvement in financial reporting processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Job Requirements & Skills:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
•
8–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a regional or multi-country finance leadership role in the GCC.
•
Strong understanding of country-specific regulations, tax laws, and financial standards in the UAE, KSA, and Qatar.
•
Proven experience in consolidation, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management.
•
Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar ERP systems), advanced Excel, and financial modeling tools.
