Overview of the role:
As part of the Group FP&A team, the candidate will be involved in following activities:-
• Analysis of Monthly Group performance and preparation of Monthly performance updates to the BOD
• Detailed Variance analysis of all items of the P&L
• Analysis of Group Financial Budget and facilitate preparation of Zero-based budgeting
• Undertake Data Visualisation using Power BI / other tools.
• Analysis of various management reports that are generated and submitted to TOP management.
Key Responsibilities
•Understand Data framework, Retrieve and analyze data from various Data Warehouses using Excel, MS Access, OBIEE, OFIN, Netezza, and other data management systems
• Creating a Master Data Base by processing unstructured data into useful information to be made available across Territories & Concepts for Analysis & Insights
•Processing, cleansing, verifying data to ensure data integrity across all Reporting and Sources
•Build predictive models using Data analytics & Business inputs to forecast Revenue, OH & Profit for the Group
•Work with finance and business users across the organization to determine the metrics, reports, and analysis needed to manage and act on the business
•Develop intelligent, insightful reporting on the key drivers of our business & present information using data visualization techniques
•Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
•Part of a team to create Enterprise Performance Management Dashboards in Power BI consolidating 44 key metrics in a single place
•Liaison with Concepts, Group Functions & territories to collect, understand, collate and structure data
Basic qualifications :
•Proven experience as a Data Scientist / Data Analyst
•Background in Data Mining
•Knowledge of R, SQL, C•
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft tools like Excel (incl. Macros), PowerPoint, Access, Flow, SharePoint, OneNote
•Any previous experience in using Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Qlik View) and building Visual Dashboards
•Analytical Mind, Business Acumen & problem Solving attitude
•Excellent written, verbal, listening, communicating
•Basic understanding of Finance like Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance Sheet, etc. would be a plus
