Job Description

The Assistant Manager - HR Operations is a pivotal role within the HR department that supports and enhances the effectiveness of HR services and operations. This position involves a combination of strategic and operational responsibilities, providing guidance and leadership to ensure that Human Resources operates smoothly and efficiently. The Assistant Manager will work closely with HR leadership to manage daily operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. It is ideal for someone who is passionate about HR operations and is looking to make a significant impact by contributing to the development and implementation of HR processes and initiatives.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily HR operations to ensure a smooth workflow and timely execution.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts by coordinating with hiring managers for effective recruitment.
  • Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Manage employee records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all HR data.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including appraisals and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely compensation delivery.
  • Lead and conduct employee onboarding and offboarding processes efficiently.
  • Resolve employee issues and concerns by providing support and guidance to ensure positive relations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making and reporting requirements.
  • Support the organization in maintaining compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to foster a positive work environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least three years of experience in HR operations or a similar role required.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices is essential.
  • Proven ability to handle a high level of confidentiality and sensitive situations with integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficient in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor junior HR staff.
