Assistant Manager - Human Resources
The job holder will be responsible for providing strategic support to the Head of HR in terms of HR Analytics, Employee relations, talent and training development to  employees and human resource operations
Employee Relations
• Introduce Employee Retention/Recognition Programmes such as Employee of the month, Long Service Award etc for the Territory
• Manage the Human Resource Information system effectively to ensure that correct and complete information
is stored in the system and is used effectively for the benefit of the organization
• Enable management of employee requests on an on-going basis. These may include but not limited to vacation
requests, transfers, employee certificates, etc
• Manage the employee separation process, thereby ensuring smooth exit of employee from the organization. This
may include managing activities such as exit interviews, full and final settlement, etc
• Ensure safekeeping and maintenance of all employee related files and records
• Ensure effective implementation of HR policies across the territory
• Ensure compliance with statutory provisions with respect to people practices and processes
• Monitor visa application and issue for employees
• Ensure Emirates ID is processed /renewed for all employees on time.
Performance Management & Rewards
• Facilitate the performance management process in theTerritory
• Ensure communication and implementation of the performance management system to enable enforcement of the same across the Terr itory
• Create a culture of setting goal, timely review and feedback among the senior employees and head of functions within the territory
• Ensure objective administration of the performance appraisal process and accuracy in feedback collation
• Ensure tracking of performance management and present reports on a regular basis to the management
• Recommend employees for promotion in a particular year by identifying high performer and high potential employees on the basis of the performance management system outcomes
• Support the Territory Head in increment planning, incentive allocation and policy review for the territory
• Execute on-time disbursement of increments and incentive for the employees Business
Context
• Support business initiatives to develop a performance driven, customer-oriented culture
• Find out the irritants which are causing non performance, it could be issues with the supervisor, infrastructure support, pay package, no delegation of work etc
• Partner with the business to drive important HR initiatives
People Management
• Manage and support recruitment
• Monitor team development and facilitate complaint resolution
• Set goals for direct reports and conduct performance appraisal
• Oversee team deployment  and drive motivation levels of the direct reportees
HR Analytics-
• Identifying and working with the HR team to resolve
various HR related issues
• Communicating with stakeholders where necessary and helping with trouble shooting and any business needs
• Helping with job audits and HR investigations and following up with relevant parties
• Creating and delivering specialized presentations and training on HR related topics across the business
• Providing advice and support to numerous departments in the organization regarding HR policies, processes, and best practice
• Analyzing and presenting data and reports to the appropriate area of expertise
• Assisting the HR team in the progression and moderation of operating policies, guidelines, and systems to encourage best practice within the company
• Reviewing employee and candidate data and inputting this into relevant HR databases Change Management /Value Addition
• Provide strategic support to the HR Head  for all change management activities
• Propose and execute changes/improvements within Human Resources to introduce best practices
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement across.
• Create a culture of high levels of employee engagement, employee satisfaction and employee motivation by formulating and implementing a specific action plan to achieve the same and gauge effectiveness periodically.
• Formulate plans to keep attrition under check in conjunction with Top Management and implement the same. Periodic review for any changes as required Q ualification, Experience & Skills
• Post-graduate degree in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources
Management preferred • 6 years of experience in Human Resources
• 3 years of experience in Team Management and HR Analytics
• Advanced knowledge of HR processes/ policies (Management Development initiatives/ administration, Compensation modeling,Performance Management Systems and Models )
• Awareness of the local labour law and l egal compliance
• Understanding and confidence in using specific systems and programmes, including excel, PowerPoint and database management
• Strong interpersonal skills and capable of communicating with individuals at all levels and from various
backgrounds
• Researching and reading data and reports
• Ability to make judgements and decisions on confidential matters, and plan and manage complex administrative
systems and practices
