Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a high-ownership, analytical, problem-solving Associate Product Manager (APM) to join the Platforms Product team. You will help build, optimize, and scale the Payments platform that powers payments between suppliers, hotels, airlines, and various B2B Partners. You will work across product, engineering, operations, finance, risk, supplier management, and data teams to launch new features, streamline workflows, reduce financial leakage, and drive operational excellence. This is a high-impact role where small improvements translate into massive business value. The ideal candidate is a hustler, takes initiative, thrives in ambiguity, and loves solving hard system-level problems.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Deep-dive into product workflows to identify gaps across creation, authorization, charging, settlement, expiration, and refunds.
-
Analyze failures, provider issues, and operational escalations to uncover root causes and drive improvements.
-
Collaborate with engineering and business teams to write clear PRDs, define acceptance criteria, manage sprint ceremonies, and ensure high-quality delivery.
-
Build dashboards with analytics/finance teams and use SQL/Excel/Python to generate insights, validate hypotheses, and monitor performance.
-
Partner closely with Finance, Ops/FFT, and Suppliers to improve accounting accuracy, reduce manual workload, and enhance provider performance.
-
Use hands-on AI capabilities (LLM-based analysis, automation tools, intelligent assistants) to optimize processes, detect issues faster, and enable smarter product decisions.
-
Manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment, owning features end-to-end from discovery to rollout to post-launch measurement.
-
Proactively unblock dependencies, solve problems with a hustler mindset, and drive continuous improvements in reliability and efficiency.
Profile Requirements
-
2 - 5 years of product management, business/data analyst, or fintech/payments experience.
-
Highly analytical; comfortable with data, SQL, Excel, and debugging payment workflows.
-
Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach to breaking down complex issues.
-
Proven track record of hustling to get things done, even with ambiguity.
-
Comfortable working with APIs, payment flows, and technical constraints.
-
Excellent communication skills - can work with engineering, finance, and operations effectively.
Good to Have
-
Experience in fintech, payments, or hotel/flight booking systems.
-
Familiarity with card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
-
Experience in automation or optimizing operational processes.
