Sales &Business Development Functions:
Work Standards:
Assist UK HQ to implement and execute marketing and promotional plans, both through liaising with RAK Production Team (Supply side) and customer (Demand side). Liaising with selected customers in order to obtain information regarding shelf prices and competitors. These will be reported to UK HQ so that detailed analysis can be made. Develops systems through which sale and demand can be tracked, maintained and developed. Experience and good understanding of Sales support function, Managing B to B Customers, Order Processing, Shipment Processing, Planning and Production functions. Developing constructive relationships with clients and representing the organization to customers and other external sources to execute marketing and other brand promotional activities.
Order Processing Team Management :
Work Standards:
Liaising with various departments including Planners and Purchasers to ensure delivery commitments are fulfilled on time. To manage and guide the Order Processing Team (OPT). To manage the relationship with customers when issues arise and find adequate responses to resolving the issues at hand from a logistical/financial/production point of view. Only escalating back to the UK HQ when needed. To be in regular contact with HQ to update on ongoing issues and seek advice on best approach to resolving issues.To develop guidelines of best practice to ensure that there is continuity in approach to dealing with customers issues and knowledge is accumulated to better our processes. To review and recommend improvements to the current systems in place. To coordinate the distributor requests and work with internal teams to deliver these. To provide improved metrics, analysis and insight to support Continual Improvement in our activities. To ensure that requests coming from customers via HQ are dealt with and executed in a timely manner.
Key Performance Indicators :-
An experienced and mature professional able to manage the demands of a number of different Distributors and internal needs. An organizer and project manager able to see projects through from inception to delivery and follow-up. You should be able to manage your own workload and work to tight deadlines and know how to delegate. Flexibility plus persistence are keys to success in this culture. Cultural sensitivity is essential as the working environment and the customers are truly multi-cultural. A confidant, positive and outgoing personality, comfortable with communication and persuasion with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience in Managerial position in a FMCG production environment. Handles the same role with at least 3-5 years experience. Have a solid understanding of Marketing, Sales & Business Development, Shipping and Logistics.An organizer with excellent project management skills, strong communicator able to deal with various profiles and distributors from around the world.Excellent in MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) is required.Excellent data entry skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to details and a high level of accuracy. A Self-Starter Willing to take initiative and see tasks through, complete finisher. Preferably with experience in ERP software.
