'Landmark Group is one of the largest retail conglomerates with presence across the Middle East, Africa, Indian Subcontinent, and South East Asia. Corporate Strategy team drives strategy development and large scale business transformation programs across businesses and geographies for the Group, along with the growth agenda for the group (new markets, new businesses).
Key responsibilities include
- Work under the guidance of a Senior Manager/ DGM/ CSO on projects relevant for board members, CXO s of concepts within Landmark Group, on varied strategic and operational topics
- Independently manage/ liaise with a cross-functional teams of 2-3 on a broad range of projects/ topics taking end to end ownership of delivery
- Drive problem solving through the regular consulting process including defining the problem and hypothesis, analyzing data, synthesizing findings, drawing insights and making recommendations
- Analyze internal data (financial / operational / retail transaction), identify root causes of problems, and draw actionable business insights
- Provide program management expertise, including strategic thinking and issue resolution for cross-departmental strategic initiatives critical to business success
- Basis guidance from CSO, scan the business environment and keep a track of emerging trends, highlighting strategic insights that could impact LMG's businesses
- Design and develop senior management presentations
- Ensure timeliness and quality of deliverable
Qualification & Skills
An ideal candidate for this role should be/have -
- Master of Business Administration (Finance and Strategy preferred) or advanced degree in Financial analysis from a top tier institute
- Goal oriented self-starter, willing to work with minimal supervision and guidance
- Ability to work with and manage CXO level stakeholders, especially in a high growth environment
- Exceptional analytical skills and commercial acumen to understand key drivers of business, see through the numbers and come up with valuable insights
- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of different engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations
- Strong communication skills visible in independent writing, conversation and presentations
- Strong MS Office - presentation, excel modelling skills; knowledge of other analytical tools such as Qlikview, Tableau will be a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Open to Travel as required for different projects
- Excellent Team Player
- Eye for detail
2-4 years of post-MBA work experience in any or all the following areas:
- Strategy and / or Operations experience with a top tier Management Consulting firm
- Strategy or Corporate Planning or performance improvement in a retail environment
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Ecommerce/ Retail sector (particularly fashion and home) with exposure to any or all the following areas:
- Demand forecasting
- Merchandise planning
- Supply chain management/ Order fulfillment
