Our client a forward thinking commercially driven semi-government entity based in Dubai is looking for an Assistant Manager - UAE National Development to manage end to end process of Emiratisation, Management Trainee Program and other UAE National Development initiatives to ensure the business achieves the Emiratisation objectives
The role:
- Lead the Emiratisation, Management Trainee Program and UAE National Development initiatives including being the point of contact for these key responsibilities to ensure the best talents are recruited in the most effective manner to achieve organisational objectives
- Analyse the process and performance of Emiratisation by conducting orientations, schedule rotation, assignments and prepare relevant reports and presentation with recommendation to the management that ensures appropriate communication and process is established towards UAE National Development goals
- Collaborate with Talent Development team to plan competency based development programs for Emiratis and maintain regular reporting and progress updates against set objectives to ensure Emiratisation roadmap is established and complied at all times
- Organise events such as Career Fairs and University Open Days with an objective to establish and build positive working relationship with key stakeholders
- Lead the UAE National Development team and support them by working closely with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best fit candidates are hired
- Manage the performance of UAE Nationals by conducting appropriate assessment reviews and make recommendation of suitable training courses to ensure sufficient developmental, opportunities are provided to all nationals in an effective manner. Liaise with Employee Relations & Welfare team in case of employee exit and provide the feedback to VP-HR
- Other duties as needed or required and deals with confidential information and issues using discretion and judgement
- Liaise and closely work with Talent Development team towards high and low performer s development plan and establishing learning and development needs of the UAE Nationals to ensure the related objectives are delivered
Requirements:
- Must have leadership experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in a supervisory/managerial role
- University Degree with a GPA above 3
