Position Overview

We
are seeking dynamic and academically qualified candidates with expertise in Finance, Financial Economics, or
FinTech
who are committed to advancing the university s mission through excellence in teaching, research, and academic
service. Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied aspects of the field and demonstrate the ability
to engage students in innovative and experiential learning. Areas of specialization may include but are not limited to: Financial Management
and Theory, Financial Markets and Institutions, Investment and Portfolio Analysis, Corporate Finance, and emerging domains such as Digital
Banking, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence in Finance, and Financial Technology and Innovation.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate
    courses in finance, FinTech, and related disciplines, incorporating relevant technical tools and software applications into the learning
    experience.
  • Develop and sustain a productive research agenda that leads to publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals,
    with the potential to contribute to interdisciplinary and data-driven research in finance and financial technology.
  • Supervise
    student research projects, theses, and capstones, particularly those involving analytical tools, financial modelling, and emerging FinTech
    platforms.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program enhancement, ensuring alignment with current industry
    practices and the integration of financial technologies and software (e.g., Bloomberg, Python for Finance, R or similar tools).
  • Actively participate in departmental, college, and university committees and academic initiatives that support institutional goals.
  • Engage with the business and professional community, fostering industry collaboration and supporting the university's outreach,
    innovation, and impact initiatives.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • A Ph.D.
    in Finance, Financial Technology (FinTech), or a closely related field preferably from a university accredited by AACSB or EQUIS and or a
    top 200 university.
  • A strong record of or potential for high-quality research and publications commensurate with the rank applied
    for.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
    skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching a diverse range of finance and/or fintech
    courses.
  • Professional certifications relevant to finance or fintech (e.g., CFA, FRM).
  • Industry experience in finance or
    financial technology.
  • Experience with online or blended learning modalities.
