Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Science and deliver programming courses with a strong focus on Java and Python.
- Integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies effectively into teaching and learning activities.
- Develop course syllabi, learning materials, assessments, and instructional strategies aligned with program outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor students academically and support their research and career development.
- Conduct research and publish in reputable, high-impact journals indexed in Scopus.
- Participate in curriculum development, program review, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage in departmental, college, and university service and administrative responsibilities.
- Undertake formative and summative assessments to ensure progress and implement interventions where required.
- Mentor and advise students at all levels.
- Apply learning practices effectively.
- Engage in professional activities and community service.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from an internationally recognized university.
- A publication record in high-reputable journals indexed in Scopus within the candidate s research area.
- Demonstrated ability to teach programming courses, particularly Java and Python.
- University-level teaching experience is must.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
