Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain management and related areas using effective and student-focused pedagogies.
Contribute to the review, development, and enhancement of the supply chain management curriculum, ensuring alignment with contemporary academic and industry trends.
Conduct, publish, and disseminate advanced research in the candidate s area of specialization.
Apply and demonstrate sound knowledge of research methodologies in both teaching and scholarly work.
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects and seek external research funding where appropriate.
Participate in academic advising, student mentoring, and supervision of research projects.
Represent the University of Kalba in national and international conferences, academic forums, and professional associations.
Foster engagement with industry and community partners to support student internships and professional development opportunities.
Contribute to college and university service, including committee work and governance activities.
Engage in outreach initiatives that support the university s mission and enhance its societal impact.
Desired Candidate Profile
A PhD in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or a closely related field from an internationally recognized university.
A strong publication record in reputable academic journals or clear evidence of the potential to publish in leading journals.
Demonstrated expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
At least one year of experience at the Assistant Professor level or in an equivalent teaching role.
Proven ability to implement innovative, student-centered, and technology-enhanced teaching practices.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
Clear commitment to professional development and staying current with developments in supply chain and operations management.
