Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the senior project team in managing all aspects of a luxury high-rise residential tower project in Yas Bay, Abu Dhabi. You ll assist in planning, coordination, and on-site delivery, ensuring that works are executed in accordance with project timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Project Managers in coordinating daily project activities and tracking progress against agreed schedules.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including reports, minutes, and correspondence.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Participate in progress, coordination, and technical meetings, preparing summaries and action lists as required.
- Support in the review and verification of project submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs.
- Help ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained on-site.
- Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and progress reporting under senior guidance.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Proactively identify potential issues and escalate them to senior management for resolution.
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Skills & Requirements:
- 2 4 years of experience working in a construction or project management environment, ideally within the UAE.
- Exposure to high-rise or luxury residential projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and site coordination.
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to work on-site within a dynamic project environment.
Qualifications & Training:
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Project Management (essential).
- Working toward or interested in pursuing professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, PMI) is an advantage.
