Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of the project.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Track and report project progress to the Project Manager.
  • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure they are within budget.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Identify and resolve project issues and risks.
  • Prepare project status reports and other documents.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project management processes and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the Project Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Special Skills:

  • Knowledge of engineering and construction principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience in the design and construction of large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Professional Registration: Registration with a relevant body (i.e. PMI, ICE) will be viewed favorably.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data.
  • Project management.
  • Budgeting and cost control.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Risk management.
  • Contract management.
  • Scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in project management software (i.e. Primavera).
