Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support the project team in managing all costs related to construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and analyzing cost estimates, budgets, and tenders.
- Support in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and other tender documents.
- Assist in contract administration and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and assess work completion.
- Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
- Maintain updated project records and reports.
