Assistant Resident Engineer (Civil)

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Resident Engineer (Civil) to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the proper execution of civil works associated with the AT Grade Cycle Track Project in Abu Dhabi, in full compliance with project specifications and local authority requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supervise and monitor all civil works including cycle track construction, pavements, kerbs, drainage, and associated infrastructure.

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and Abu Dhabi Municipality and DMT requirements.

• Review and provide input on material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.

• Coordinate with contractors, designers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

• Conduct site inspections and prepare progress, quality, and compliance reports.

• Verify quantities and assist in the evaluation of variations and contractor submissions.

• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to project schedule and quality standards.

• Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental requirements on site.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 8 10 years of experience in civil works supervision, preferably in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of roadworks, cycle tracks, drainage systems, and utilities coordination.

• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi standards and DMT requirements.

• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience in cycle track, roads, or public realm projects in Abu Dhabi.

• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and local authority approval processes.

• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP or equivalent) are an advantage.
