Role Specification
As an Associate Director you will oversee the daily operations of the marketing team and be responsible for nurturing and developing team members. You should also work with the Director on the overall marketing strategy. This role requires someone who prefers working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring to life the brand.
Primary Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing all marketing initiatives across AES International. Generating high quality Getting to VITO (Very Important Top Officer) leads using traditional methods of marketing and business development.
Main Duties
Client Service Delivery

• Ensure a comprehensive and cohesive branding presence for AES International by ensuring all marketing collateral maintains a consistent brand voice and message
• Support Director in HR matters
• Providing reports to Board through Director
• Crafting exceptional emails, blogs and other copywriting as required
• Approve all new landing pages, emails, blogs, website pages and lead generation forms
• Manage outsourced services including design and SEO ensuring ROI is achieved
• Assist where necessary in responding appropriately to requests for new materials from other parts of the business;
• Oversee all marketing campaigns and ensure clear ROI
• Understand and promote the principles of inbound marketing including landing pages, personas, conversion tactics and testing and the customer journey
• Keep up-to-date with new media developments and initiatives
• Keep up-to-date with general media, marketing and financial industry news
Achieve Good Client Outcomes

• Devising strategies for driving sales growth across the different business lines.
• Forming strategic partnerships with individuals and companies to leverage their existing networks.
• Devising marketing plan for existing clients to develop raving fans. Development of BD strategy for the Employee Benefits team (Group Insurance).
• Event management, focusing on our key persona (VITO), around 3 main activities; golf, polo and sailing.
• Creating and driving forward CSR initiatives.
• Knowledge leadership, surveys/white papers.
• Regional advertising using traditional methods such as radio and direct marketing.
• Proactively seek out and identify opportunities to improve organisation protection
• Manage the strategy and set up of paid campaigns
• Meet regularly with Associates and Senior Associates to discuss leads
• Chair daily huddles with team to discuss priorities for the day
• Chair monthly smarketing meetings to encourage sharing of ideas and knowledge with sales team
• Manage and set marketing budget
Staff Management and Working as a Team

• Overseeing the day to day management and communication of the Marketing team.
• Interviewing, hiring, managing and mentoring new members of the Marketing team.
• Working with the marketing team to devise marketing materials and tools to support new business teams.
• Working with the digital marketing team to maximise exposure of brand and lead generation
• Hold regular 121s and appraisals with and otherwise manage Senior Associates of the team; monitor Senior Associate management of Associates
• Lead internal training for other team members.
• Provide input on other colleagues for performance reviews.
• Working closely with the company s Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations
• Provide training and ongoing guidance to Senior Associates on best inbound marketing practices;
• Conduct staff appraisals
• Conduct new starter inductions

• Database planning, creation, maintenance and management.
• Analysing existing approaches to the development of business and making changes where appropriate.
• Setting, monitoring and achieving new business development targets and opportunities.
• Creating high value sales opportunities.
• To participate in and/or support key projects and practice/technical initiatives across the business as required
• Oversee social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
• Overall responsibility for inbound lead generation through all online channels including the website and social media
• Work with the Director to develop new marketing strategies to drive lead generation
• Attend monthly senior management training
• Extract evidence from reports and data and react accordingly, always striving to improve marketing performance
• Devise strategies for social media, content and paid marketing
• Manage introducer and COI relationships and seek to build new ones
