Working closely with and reporting to the Director of Sales, the Associate Director of Sales is responsible for managing sales activity to maximize revenue potential and optimize business for the Hotel across all channels, in order to ensure budgeted expectations are achieved.
Key to the role is providing leadership to our high performing team of Sales Managers, Executives and Coordinators in order to maintain the position of the property as the premier luxury hotel in Bahrain
We are looking for someone with superior communication skills, one who is able to vary their style to suit a wide internal audience whilst maintaining and strengthening relationships with key clients, industry partners and tourism organisations.
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will have a hunger for results, be a savvy negotiator and influencer, a swift decision maker and will enjoy the challenge of multi-tasking whilst meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements for this position are:
• 5 to 7 years of experience in sales in an international luxury chain.
• Experienced in handling Saudi Market
• Fluent in both Arabic and English
• A proven track record in delivering outstanding results as a current/previous Associate Director of Sales or Senior Sales Manager
• A leadership style that is authentic, engaging and strategic, based on identified business priorities and capable of monitoring and driving direct reports to achieve excellence and professional growth
• Impeccable communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• A collaborative style that will build strong relations with all Hotel departments who are key to the success of the Sales team
• Driving Sales across all market segments to achieve the Hotel's budget performance
• Leading, coaching and mentoring the sales team to ensure that they achieve their goals while enhancing their development
• Relationship management with key contacts across all market segments including own portfolio and other industry connections
• Be active in providing market intelligence for the group pipeline, yield/forecast meetings, marketing plan and annual budgets
