Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Associate in Fleet Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning and efficiency of our fleet management. You will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the fleet, maintaining accurate records of vehicle movements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Your role will involve close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely maintenance and repair of vehicles, as well as optimizing routes and schedules to enhance service delivery. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for logistics and operations management, this position offers a dynamic work environment where you can grow and make a significant impact.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the daily operations and logistics of the vehicle fleet.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Schedule and monitor regular maintenance and inspection of all fleet vehicles.
- Analyze fleet performance and devise strategies to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle usage and maintenance history.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Optimize routes and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.
- Provide training and support to drivers to enhance operational effectiveness and safety.
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement measures to reduce operational costs.
- Assist in developing and executing strategies for fleet expansion and improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on fleet operations and performance metrics.
- Respond promptly to any operational issues or emergencies involving the fleet.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in fleet management or operations is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and related computer applications.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and industry regulations.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to inform decision-making processes.
