Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Professor of Marketing to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Marketing or a related field and a minimum of three years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level. The role involves teaching, research, and academic advising, as well as contributing to the department s growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in marketing such as Consumer Behavior, Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, and International Marketing.
  • Develop and update course syllabi, learning outcomes, and teaching materials.
  • Conduct original research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
  • Participate in curriculum development, program review, and accreditation processes.
  • Engage in academic advising and mentoring of students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and faculty governance activities.
  • Contribute to industry collaboration and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • PhD in Marketing or a closely related discipline from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in higher education.
  • Proven track record of academic research and publications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching tools, online learning platforms, and LMS (Learning Management Systems).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with case-based and experiential learning methods.
  • Industry experience or professional certifications in marketing is a plus.
  • Involvement in funded research or consultancy projects.
  • Knowledge of current trends and innovations in digital and global marketing.
