Purpose of the role: Responsible for is overall management and development of the Sea freight break bulk, FCL, LCL business. To find and develop qualified leads, then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers.

Job Description:

• You must be a self-starter and have a proven track record in achieving significant growth through structured and effective sales management
• Be able to provide turnkey solutions, using in-house companies
• Be able to segment the market, develop sales plans, allocate resources effectively, manage key accounts, set budgets, implement a CRM system etc.
• Pro-actively identify & develop profitable new opportunities, through existing and potential clients to generate increased revenue and market share.
• Identifying key growth sectors in the region
• Managing quotes and closing deals effectively and efficiently to successfully convert into revenue
• Strong negotiation strategies towards rates and service levels with customers that would generate a healthy business and build long lasting relationship
• Capable of independently meeting expected sales goals in the assigned territories
• Create & maintain KPIs to measure the performance & profitability
• Negotiating rates and service levels with customers

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

• Any Post Graduate with minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role in either Shipping, Imports & Exports, Freight Forwarding business in GCC
• Must have strong experience in our products such as LCLs, FCLs, Break Bulk and Sea Freight business
• Good negotiating skills, planning & Organizational skills
• High level communication & presentation skills
• Business or Logistics related qualifications preferred
