Job Purpose

To provide technical engineering expertise for the preventive and corrective maintenance of aeronautical airside equipment and systemsin accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer guidelines, IMS standards and contractual terms

Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Troubleshoot and repair the Aeronautical Systems at the designated site to ensure they remain fully operational without any interruptions and / outages

• Escalate matters and faults of complex nature to the Senior Engineer for timely action and approval

• Supervise the Airside Technicians during the designated shift to ensure all matters related to engineering works are handled in an efficient manner

• Monitor the performance of Technicians in order to identify and address areas of development in a timely manner

• Distribute the workload amongst the shift Technicians to ensure the planned monthly maintenance schedule is delivered in an efficient manner

• Maintain accurate and detailed servicing logs and data for record

• Provide inputs and statistical data to the Senior Engineer to assist with preparation of reports as required

• Report directly to the Senior Engineer any issue or occurrences that will or may affect operational ability of the airport

• Review the scope and specifications of the new / existing systems to assist with upgrades and replacements

• Perform any additional responsibilities that may be communicated from time to time to support CNS Engineering in meeting operational requirements

• Safety responsibilities and accountabilities of this position are detailed in the Safety Management Manual of the organization. The Job holder is required to maintain awareness and knowledge in relation to their safety responsibilities associated with their job function
