Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for hearing and balance disorders.
- Fit, adjust, and maintain hearing aids and other auditory devices.
- Educate patients and their families on hearing loss, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in audiology and auditory technology.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about hearing health.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure to practice audiology.
- 3-5 years of experience in a clinical audiology setting.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using audiometric equipment and software.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
