Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior audit staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Review and evaluate internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary financial data and documentation, ensuring timely and accurate audit processes.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports, highlighting key findings and risk areas to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing and assurance.
  • Ensure all audit work is conducted in accordance with firm policies, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Manage client relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Assist in business development activities, including proposal preparation and participation in client meetings.
  • Support the implementation of new audit technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple audit projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising junior staff.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work on-site in an office-based arrangement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 10 years and maximum of relevant audit experience, preferably in a public accounting or professional services environment.
