RESPONSIBILITIES-

1. Authority Coordinator, who can assist the Consultants and Contractors to obtain the relevant design NOC's and building permits for the Project.
2. Coordinating with the all local authorities’ departments, technical departments, Planning, infrastructure, and preparing the procedures and reports in the required manner.
3. The Authority Liaison Engineer, should work with the Consultants to implement all regulations that are relevant to the NOC's and approvals, reviewing and checking Consultant design drawings in the office and follow-up it, along with performing the standards, and confirming the compatibility of such standards with the professional standards of designs acceptable to the Authorities.
4. Highlighting and /or flagging all design and procedural issues which do not comply with Authority standards and procedures. Engaging with the Authorities and Stakeholders to find ways to solve these issues and procedural roadblocks.
5. Preparing the reports of the status of approvals, procedures and requirements relevant to the issuance of approvals, NOC's and buildings permits.
6. Follow-up and coordination of the Project applications, whether in Authorities offices or online.
7. Providing comprehensive databases for the NOC's, approvals, installations and their statuses, and updating the same directly on the spot.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS -

1. Performance goal: Ensure timeous issuance of NOCs and Building permits by Authorities for the projects.
2. Operational efficiency: Assist Consultants and Contractors to achieve the above as part of their scope.
3. Strategic: Develop deep relationship with the Authorities to expedite all Project approval processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

MIN QUALIFICATION-

Engineering background
Computer Literate – Excel, Work, Outlook
Knowledge about coordination requirements in construction sites (Large scale project experience is a must.)

MIN EXPERIENCE -

- Minimum of 5 years work experience in Authorities Liaison field (experience in Sharjah Authorities or Sharjah consultant is a must) with thorough knowledge of Authority approval processes

- Must have relevant experience in Buildings and Infrastructure

- Must have knowledge in Computer Applications (AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office)

- Must be well equipped in reports and presentations

JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS

• Strong coordination skills
• Very good communication skills in Arabic and English (Speak/write/read)
• Good knowledge in MS office
• Able to understand construction drawing
• Negotiation
