Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and incorporate their feedback into the CAD drawings.
- Develop and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects, considering all necessary specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials, including 3D renderings and animations, to visualize designs for clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings, verifying dimensions, materials, and overall design accuracy before submission.
- Manage project documentation, including drawing revisions, change orders, and as-built drawings.
- Troubleshoot design issues and propose solutions to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in 2D and 3D modeling, and knowledge of other CAD software like Revit is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in drafting or design, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Possesses strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot design issues and find effective solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Exhibits strong mathematical and analytical skills, including the ability to perform calculations and understand engineering principles.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics, with the ability to interpret and translate them accurately.
