Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Automotive Electrician is responsible for performing skilled electrical diagnostic and repair work on a wide range of vehicles. This includes identifying and resolving electrical faults, repairing and maintaining wiring systems, alternators, batteries, starters, lighting systems. The electrician must be able to interpret wiring diagrams, use advanced diagnostic tools, and ensure all electrical systems function efficiently and safely. He should also conduct preventive maintenance, calibrate sensors, and support mechanical teams in electrical-related repairs. Maintaining high workshop standards, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and delivering reliable, high-quality workmanship are key expectations of this role. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, technical accuracy, and a professional attitude toward customers and team members alike.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal Automotive Electrician should possess a strong foundation in automotive electrical systems with practical, hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair. He must be capable of identifying and fixing faults in wiring, sensors, alternators, lighting, and vehicle electronics with precision and speed. A minimum of 2–5 years of workshop experience in the automotive field is preferred. The candidate should be technically skilled, reliable, and self-motivated, with a positive attitude toward teamwork and continuous learning. Knowledge of modern diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams, and safety procedures is essential.
