Installation Procedures:

• Demonstrate a general understanding of installation procedures for mobile computers, mobile radios, and mounting components.

Electrical Systems Knowledge:

• Possess a knowledgeable background in 12-volt and 24-volt electrical systems.

Vehicle Upfits and Builds:

• Perform vehicle upfits and builds according to client specifications and company standards.

Work Schedule Management:

• Maintain and adhere to daily work schedules as outlined for client projects.

Inventory Monitoring:

• Monitor inventory to ensure availability of necessary products and coordinate with the appropriate department to arrange shipment of required items.

Project Communication:

• Regularly communicate with management regarding project progress and address any issues encountered.

Documentation Review:

• Maintain and review accurate documentation to ensure work aligns with the outlined project scope.

Vehicle Component Disassembly and Assembly:

• Disassemble and reassemble electrical parts and components, including:
• A/C systems (removal and recharging of gas)
• Dashboard removal and installation
• Wire harness removal, preparation, and installation
• Electrical bracket installation
• Rear A/C removal and installation

Electrical Modifications:

• Modify electrical components for installation following vehicle armoring.

Accessory Installation:

• Install additional accessories such as:
• Strobe lights
• PA siren systems
• Intercom systems
• Cameras
• Battery link monitors and separators
• Extra fans
• Airbag switches
• Fuel cut-off switches
• Rear and front sensors
• Winch wiring
• Bull bar wiring (fog lights)
• Door actuator wiring
• Novacom systems
• Rear door hatch switches
• Tire pressure monitors
• Kill switches for all lights
• Cigarette lighters in rear center consoles
• Headlight washers
• Roof light modifications
• Searchlights
• Radios
• Computer scanning equipment

Flexibility and Cross-Training:

• Be flexible and open to cross-training in other departments as required.
