Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by sanding, priming, and cleaning to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Select and mix paint colors according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Apply paint using spray guns and other tools, maintaining even coverage and minimizing runs and drips.
  • Inspect painted surfaces to identify imperfections, performing touch-ups as needed for quality assurance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of materials and tools.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations when handling chemicals and paint materials.
  • Collaborate with technicians and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Keep detailed records of materials used and work completed for inventory and billing purposes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and products to enhance painting skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
  • Familiarity with modern painting technologies and materials, such as water-based paints.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred; proficiency in English is essential for safety and communication.
  • Proficiency in color matching and mixing, with a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive painting or a related field.
  • Certifications in painting techniques or hazardous materials handling are highly desirable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive painting is a plus.
